Dr. J. Patrick Favero • Family Medicine
Dr. John "Patrick" Favero, a native of Martinsville and Henry County, is pleased to return home with his wife Ann. With ambitions of returning to the community that inspired him to become a physician, he will develop his practice with Dr. Mark Mahoney at Martinsville Family Medicine. Dr. Favero holds a special interest in sports medicine and is currently involved with local high school sports teams. He also enjoys fishing, snow skiing, snowboarding, soccer, golf and football.
Dr. Patrick Favero began building the foundation for his medical career at Fieldale Collinsville High School, Class of 1999. As an undergraduate, he furthered his education at Lenoir-Rhyne College with a bachelors degree in Pre-Med and finished his medical degree at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Favero completed his residency for Family Medicine at American College of Osteopathic and Lynchburg Academy of Medicine.

Dr. Sarah K. Lentz • General Surgeon
Dr. Sarah K. Lentz joined the practice of Dr. Scott O'Neil on August 1, 2010. Dr. Lentz earned her bachelors degree from Yale College and her Masters from Yale School of Medicine.
She then earned her medical degree with Honors at Dartmouth School of Medicine and finished her General Surgery Residency at Emory School of Medicine. Dr. Lentz was active duty with the United States Air Force from 2002 to 2006 and was honorably discharged as a Major in 2006.
Dr. Lentz will be moving to Martinsville from Maryland where she served as a Medical Director for The Women's Place at Carroll Hospital Center. With a particular interest in advanced laparoscopy, breast surgery, and endocrine surgery, Dr. Lentz will be highly welcomed as a member of our surgery staff.
Dr. Lentz is looking forward to the move and getting settled-in with her fiancé Ron Green. They will be starting a small farm here in Martinsville while taking pleasure in the outdoors by playing golf and riding motorcycles.
